Building resilience and shared purpose through a lakeside hike, open discussion and reflection.
On the morning of October 17, 2026, OCOM’s sales and support team gathered at Lixin Lake Park for a hike and business review. The event combined a shared physical challenge with an opportunity to reflect on recent work and strengthen the team’s sense of purpose.
The route followed a full circuit of the lake along its peaceful greenway. In his opening address, the General Manager recognized the substantial year-on-year growth achieved during the September sourcing campaign, while highlighting areas of the business that still needed improvement. He encouraged the team to review its experience and prepare for the final quarter.
Along the way, colleagues walked together and exchanged ideas openly. Experienced team members shared practical approaches to maintaining customer relationships and strengthening the existing customer base. New colleagues reflected on their progress, considered areas for personal improvement and discussed their next steps. Through these conversations and the shared effort of the walk, the team developed a clearer sense of its priorities.
The Lixin Lake hike encouraged resilience and a shared focus across the team. Colleagues will take their reflections back into daily work, with an emphasis on strengthening existing business, progressing key orders and working toward year-end goals. OCOM will continue to pursue growth through practical action and collective effort.
